Marble Bathroom

There are always many things to consider when choosing what goes into a bathroom. Sometimes it may seem like there is an overwhelming amount of detail to take into account, such as the type of bathtub or the sink, not to mention the toilet. However, one must always take into account the single binding element that often goes unnoticed at first glance but ultimately ties every article of porcelain and piping together. This single matter, of course, is the choice of the bathroom tiles.

As with all things, great care must be taken when choosing the bathroom floor tiles and the bathroom wall tiles. While colour and price is always taken into account, the choice of material is also a matter to be taken seriously as well. Whether one selects the classic and simple ceramic square tile or favours a more exotic octagonal clay tile, a bathroom floor tile or a bathroom wall tile can speak volumes of the kind of people living in the house. Having a tile with a whimsical pattern or a tile with a clean, colourful surface are also indicators of an owner’s taste.

The uniformity between having the same exact pattern for the floor and wall tiles is also something to keep in mind. While some people prefer to have the same set of tiles throughout the bathroom, others may find a marked difference in the choice of tile between the floors and the walls more appealing to their natures. The choice of a classic finish such as a marbled glaze or a porous, earthy surface are personal touches that make a statement and an impression that has to be taken into account.
